	Bushman AvonTec is made up of four originally separate entities:

						Howard Bushman founded Bushman Equipment in Chicago in 1950. The companyquickly established a reputation for the design and manufacture of rugged,
 heavy-duty overhead crane attachments and below-the-hook lifting equipment.

						In 1993, Bushman acquired the proprietary clutch line of Flaton Machine Works, Inc./li> |

						Bushman acquired West Bend Equipment Company in 2000. West Bendmanufactured custom-designed, heavy duty material handling equipment including
 load inverters, mechanical and hydraulic upenders, coil mounting systems,
 lift tables, and die and mold handling equipment.

						In 2006, Avon Engineering, Ltd. of Waterdown, Ontario, became part of BushmanEquipment. The two companies have strong engineering capabilities and extensive
 experience in steel, steel processing, paper and heavy manufacturing. Each
 company added to the other's strengths in serving the material handling needs
 of steel mills, mold shops, paper mills and other heavy industries.

	In partnership with Arcon, Bushman AvonTec can supply all you need to custom engineer and manufacture equipment to optimise production processes, improve product quality and increase productivity.
	In addition to supplying individual items of machinery, Bushman AvonTec also provides integrated production systems on a turnkey basis if required. Equipment and operating systems are tested prior to delivery to ensure that site installation and start up times are minimised. Bushman AvonTec's materials and workmanship are warranted, and technicians are available to provide operator training and ongoing field service.
